Spring - Summer - Winter - Fall

It´s the 30th of december 2010 and the year is coming to it´s end! To describe my emotions about this year in words is quiet hard. As you can imagine it was a good year, ok you always get into struggles and periods where things are not going the way you want them to go. But HEY things are always moving forward. So press Play and don´t fall down. Grab something, take it serious and do it.
I´m not a trip advisor through any of your lifes or something. I just searched a way to explain my Topic...
So now we come to the Post... In November Lucas my dad and me went to Jordan to visit my family.
As you can imagine we had a great time. First of all it´s always a fantastic feeling to meet your family and feel home somewhere far away from everything you spend your normal life in. Another thing is the change you can see going on (no it´s not Obama Land), and the best is the culture which welcomes you with wide open arms and which can give you the feeling that you belong to them, that there is no difference between me, you, them and everybody.

I don´t want to write to much, so I stop here. And you will see......

Innsbruck - Haspingerstraße. I shot this out of my window...

Here you can see Marcel, a very very good friend of mine.... So go and check his pics on https://marcelwogram.wordpress.com I tell you are going to enjoy it.

"Die Treppe"  a bar just around the corner of my flat. We went to visit Benni.

Shot has also been taken in Wilten, my hood;). No I just like this corner so I had to show it to you.

Royal Jordanian Airways.... We had a comfortable flight.

Duccanie that´s how they call little supermarkets in Jordan.

It was Bairam so everywhere you go they sell sweets, all kind off food and they slaughter sheeps.  You are going to find them again.

Wanna buy some Gold?

Here we were driving to our orange farm. The area is called "Al Qhur".

Enjoying fresh air?

Drive-by

Thats just in front of our farmland. The farm is next to the Israelian border, just the river Jordan is seperating Jordan and Israel at this point. So we always have to pass some checkpoints. Here we had some problems to enter the Farm because Lukas is German. It was a 2hour struggle with a lot of phonecalls to get him in.

There we are!

Our Traktor!

Our Trailer, more or less a storage room. The weels are still out of metal...

And the borderline. As you can see the river Jordan is just a little leftover of a 103m wide river. And because this is just a Blog I won´t start criticizing the Israelian politics. But a lot of things are going wrong.

Lukas and the fresh mandarin.

In front you can see my oldest uncle Mustafa, then my dad, and Mustafas son Fadi.

You want to have a fresh Pomelo?

2 of our farmworkers, the guy left is soooo funny. If you could see him acting and posing.... You would die;)

The door to heaven!

My grandfathers grave. Somehow this is a wonderfull place with a great view on palestina, our home!

Back in my grandmas house I showed my family the pictures of Africa....
